HISTORICAL FICTION PITCH CONTEST

Irene Goodman is pleased to announce the winners of her historical fiction pitch contest.

The first is Katie Ritter, whose novel about the landmark voyage of Erik the Red includes the viewpoints of the one woman on board the ship and the native people in Greenland.

The second is Ashley Cowles, whose YA time travel novel takes us back to medieval Romania and the formidable presence of Vlad the Impaler, later known as Dracula.
